Trapos&Fiapos
We are a factory that has been hand-weaving cotton and natural fiber (Taboa, Buriti) unique, customizable and exclusive pieces on a net loom for 35 years. The plot of Trapos & Fiapos traces and unites lives. Founded in 1984, it tells the story of the transformation of the village of Santa Rita, in Piauí, northeast of Brazil, which discovered a form of rebirth in weaving. Trapos & Fiapos emerged from this social and cultural bias, with an innovative production concept when developing a unique tapestry. Focused on sustainability, it pays close attention to both those who make and those who receive it and today it is a reference in the handmade weaving segment.
Sustainability is a concept of preservation and reuse related to the economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects of society that reflect on biodiversity and the ecosystem. We love the cycle of nature, we respect its time.
